Now back to letters and Valentines! It doesn’t matter what you call them. You may refer to a valentine love poem, Valentines Day poetry, Love poems for valentines day or Valentines day love poems, but on this page they are all going to be simple Valentine poems and they are all based on letters of the alphabet!
Here is a simple acrostic Valentine love poem to start with based on the letters that make up the word VALENTINE! Fun and simple! Its title is not very original nor creative; however it gets the point across. It is entitled:
Here are two more examples of simple Valentine poems, with one for him and one for her. These also spell out the word VALENTINE, but use only one word for each letter to describe him or her. This is all about fun with words and letters. You can do this too! Write down VALENTINE and fill in your own words for the one that is your “BE MINE” VALENTINE.
Here is where it begins to get interesting! I have written several short and simple Valentine poems for letters of the alphabet. I wrote poems for all of the letters from A to L, S for Sheila, which I mentioned in my Valentines Day poems page and, of course, O, V, to go with L and E, and we all know what spells – LOVE! Each of these poems start with the letter followed by 5 words that describe the person whose name could begin with that letter followed by a simple 2 line poem.
Now, before next year’s Valentine’s Day comes rolling around, I need some help with the letters M, N, P, Q, R, T, U, W, X, Y and Z – a Z like the one in my cute valentine day love poem appropriately titled, ZING!
So, in the comment window below the alphabet poems, please enter your letter choice, the 5 words and a 2 line poem. Your poem will be seen by the thousands of daily visitors we have on the site. Some will comment and rate your poem. For final inclusion in the "Official" list of simple Valentine poems rests with my site staff and I. We will judge each poem on a very subjective basis. 3 poems will be selected for each letter for to be published on our site with full credit to you for writing it! Have fun! I hope your poem is selected to be published right alongside mine! There are more details by the comment window after the alphabet letter poems.
The letter Valentine poems that I have written are linked to the heart alphabet. Click on the letter you like and read the poem. You will notice that there are 2 letter “L” poems. I made Giuseppe write one so you would know anyone can do it! (Don’t tell him that I said that! HA!) Can you guess which one he wrote?
No matter how you look at it – simple can be fun!
